Parents, and those who dream of being parents, and those of you who are looking for a legal escape from parenting, welcome to GNMParents - The GNM stands for Grasshopper New Media and also stands for “Giving New Meaning to Parenting,” which is our aim.
As such, we feature a weekly poll where you, readers of all nations, submit your favorite internet links. We collect them, and present them for you to vote on, for Hot Stuff Of The Week. Really, it’s quite an honor, complete with a two-dimensional award that can be proudly displayed on your mantlepiece or website. As of yet, there’s no cash prize, so it’s not exactly the Pulitzer or anything, but we think it’s cool.
Which leads me to last week’s poll, and this week’s winner, who is… (drumroll please…)
Thimbelle! Her essay on her gal Twinks and the last of the Harry Potter series was voted Hot Stuff Of The Week by you, our fair-minded and very attractive readers. Congrats, Thimbelle, and keep on keepin’ on!!
This is where we would normally pause for a commercial break, but as we are currently lacking in any corporate sponsorship, let’s get right to this week’s poll:
Lucy has been throwing some major league tantrums, and her mom tries to figure out what to do, by talking about it with Lucy. Not a bad idea at all.
Mommy Wants Vodka writes about her kids and the heartbreak of colic. To quote her directly, “Colic sucks, newborns mostly suck…”
Jen dives in to Crunchy Chicken’s Cloth Wipe Challenge. She writes about her feelings on this challenge, as well as the benefits to all challenges.
And lastly, but not in any way leastly, is mommyq, who shares with us her thoughts and pictures of her first IPS sonogram. Very cute, very touching…
Ok, that’s that. Give each of ‘em a solid read and then vote:
Chomping at the bit to share your latest favoritest link? Send it to Stu and he’ll add to the other great nominations for a future Hot Stuff poll. Thanks!!!
