According to Wikipedia there are 7 Virtues. See below:

"The Seven Virtues were derived from the Psychomachia ('Contest of the Soul'), an epic poem written by Aurelius Clemens Prudentius (c. 410) entailing the battle of good virtues and evil vices. The intense popularity of this work in the Middle Ages helped to spread the concept of Holy Virtue throughout Europe. Practicing these virtues is alleged to protect one against temptation from the Seven Deadly Sins, with each one having its counterpart."

They are: Chastity, Abstinence, Liberality, Diligence, Patience, Kindness, Humility.

I kinda like the Boy Scout Law: http://www.scouting.org/factsheets/02-503a.html

What a topic? This makes me think.
I agree with a lot of your ideas. They all seem to lead to misery. The picture is too funny! That does not look like you. Where did you find that picture? I hope that he was paid to take that photo with that crazy hat. He does look pretty miserable.
	Talk to you soon,

I think "pessimism" could come under "sloth" as a sort of sub heading. Looking at the bright side in the face of adversity takes energy and hard work. Pessimism is a form of just not bothering, or an excuse to not try. Aren't there seven great whatsits, the opposite of the seven deadly sins? Can anyone remember?
