From Destiny’s bio - “I’m eleven years old, and I love to read. I love books and I read about three chapter books a day, and it isn’t just good for your health like you hear in school but it is also pretty fun!!”
VAMPYRE: The Terrifying Lost Journal of
Dr. Cornelius Van Helsing
This story is about Van Helsing’s great adventure finding Dracula and paralyzing him by putting a stake through his heart and burying him. This book also talks about Dr.Gustav de Wolff, who died while exploring caves in the Carpathian Mountains of Romania. This book is just awesome and I think anybody who likes legends and myths about vampires should really read this. The book also is really cool because it has lots of old pictures and they are the real pictures too.It also has really cool textures on the front to make it feel like a real journal. And the book tells everything like it was a history book with lot’s of cool pop up things and 3-D things. This book is somewhat about Werewolves too.Just only one page about wolves and things like that.Since it’s almost Halloween that’s why I wanted to review this really cool book. This book is really interesting because it isn’t like a history book where it is just boring.
What I like about the book is mostly because it’s about vampires and that it tells a lot about vampires and about how he did it and Dracula’s great powers of the dead and just a lot about it all. And the book is kind of boring, because I thought the fancy writing was hard to read. Even though the writing was hard to read the story was still interesting.
