Ladies and Gentlemen please take your seats for the first ever Hot Stuff. We have chosen five of the hottest things on the web this week. Each week one site/post/blog will be chosen for the very exclusive Hot Stuff Award!
In fifth place this week is Cool Gorilla, a website chosen for its ipod phrasebooks. Going on holiday? Simply download the phrasebook to your ipod and sprechen de deutsche (also available in French, Spanish and Greek).
My Squibbles makes it into the top five (at number four). It’s a social bookmarking site for parent and teacher resources and a whole array of interesting kids stuff can be found there.
Our very own Great Family Gadgets is at number three. Barb has recently joined the network. Her blog covers some weird and wonderful inventions for parents. PS I need a spider catcher!
NaBloPoMo comes a very very close second. This little challenge is being organised by Fussy. Basically you sign up and commit to doing a blog post every day in November and there are a ton of prizes up for grabs! Go and sign up now….
And the Winner of the first ever Hot Stuff Award is…….(imaginary drum roll)….Jennifershmoo at Vegan Lunch Box!! What this lady doesn’t know about prepping and presenting avegan lunch box isn’t worth knowing. Little shmoo I envy yoo. Her ideas are imaginative, original and healthy. Vegan or no vegan we can all learn a thing or two. Congratulations, your ‘I’m Hot Stuff’ award is on it’s way!! ![]()

Erica,
I’m honored to receive a Hot Stuff award!
And to be in such great company; I’ve enjoyed drooling over the lunches Jennifershmoo packs for her little one - talk about creativity!!
And now that my oldest son is showing a stronger inclination toward vegetarianism, I’m really going to have to spend some time learning from her site.
Being a homeschooling mom, I’m off to check out My Squibbles. Bye.
