Here’s How:
1. Earn 1 chance in the daily drawing by answering our question in the comments section (only one comment per person per contest, please) or
2. Earn 3 chances per contest by linking to our post on your own blog (just leave us a link in the comments)!!
Be sure to leave a valid email address in your comment so that we can notify you if you are one of our lucky winners!
Enough of the boring details, now onto the FUN details!
In our first contest, 3 lucky readers will win a brand new Danger Rangers book and DVD set! The Fires and Liars DVD and Blazin’ Hot book make a great gift. The Danger Rangers are a team of animated animals who use music and stories to teach kids about safety. They can be found on Public Television Stations throughout the US. From the Educational Adventures website:
- The Danger Rangers series was developed with a mission to reduce preventable child injury by empowering children, families and communities with practical safety information that they can use in their everyday lives to reduce the most common causes of preventable child accidents. Simple tips, such as wearing a bike helmet or knowing not to hide from a firefighter, can save a child’s life!
It might sound a little dry, but it’s fun! My kids really like the songs. There are samples on the website, so pop on over and check it out, but don’t forget to come back and enter the contest! The winner will receive the book and DVD, which can be shipped to an address within the United States. (Hint: Danger Rangers is giving away “free” DVDs on their site as well, but you will need to pay $5.99 for shipping)
Simply answer the following question in comments or help spread the word about GNMParents’ Bligibirthday by linking to us from your own blog!
Today’s Question:
What holiday gifts are your children hoping for this season?
Please note that this contest will remain open until Wednesday at 12 pm, EST.
Thanks for reading. Thanks for playing. Good Luck!

We’ve had many, many requests, especially since the Grand River Toy catalogue came. Most are fun-my youngest wants (and is getting) this awesome top with trains in it. She also loves trains so I’m getting her some handmade ones off esty.
My oldest…wants everything.
The one thing she keeps coming back too is Magnetix-they both love them, but she also wants this grow your own alien thing-it looks like a total piece of junk, but I dunno, every kid deserves something junky in the stocking, don’t they?

My son wants the fire house pictured on the box of the fire engine he received for his birthday. He explained to my mom that he wanted it and when my mom said maybe his parents would buy it for him, he said that no, he wanted Santa to bring it to him down the chimney. Considering we haven’t exactly been pressing the notion of Santa and don’t even have a tree, I think this is a huge statement of faith on his part.
here is a link to my blog with the few decorations we are doing this year:

strangely, my 3.5 yo is asking for a ring and nothing but a ring… I have no clue where she got the idea to ask for a ring, but even after I’ve shown her toy catalogs (from the ones that come in the mail) she says she loves different things and then announces that she wants a ring and that Santa will bring her a ring…
I guess I have a cheap kid.

My 3.5 yo son is asking for a robot. He likes one that his cousins have but it is a little advanced. We have looked in the toy catalogs that come and he really has only gotten excited about the Bubble Bee Transformer from the new movie. I just know that I am spending to much time finding the PERFECT robot. I don’t want him to be disappointed. OH…..

the boys want things or the Wii they got last year; the remote control dragonfly from Radio Shack, books- at 9 & 12 the toys are not as big as more grown up things on the list. Shame really. I like toy stores at the holidays.

The Poo wants minty chocolates, two books and two shirts. Santa was much more generous. I am currently keen on anything LeapFrog.

My kids are falling into the typical commerical side of Christmas… Baby Alive, Polly Pockets, etc. (”Doesn’t anyone remember what the true menaing of Christmas is all about!” – I need a little help from Linus here)… so I am passing along a cute story from a friend who told me the story of her 6 year old daughter writing a list for Santa requesting 1. a new dress for her little sister 2. a pretty vase of flowers for her Daddy’s office 3. a new flute for her grandfather beacuase when he plays his it sounds broken and 4. a big sparkling ring for her Mommy (tell me the jewlery store marketing doesn’t pay off!!!)
Happy Holidays to you all!

My 4-year-old wants anything Transformers for Christmas this year. My 2-year old is infatuated with Dora and has a total crush on June from Little Einsteins. Our family tradition is a new pair of PJs in the stocking, so they’re getting Transformers and Little Einsteins pajamas. Plus more under the tree, because I spoil them silly.

My 5-year-old daughter asked for a tool box, a radio and a ski boat (a real one so she can ski behind it). My son just wants Rescue Heroes!

My kids only asked for a Wii (which…is very hard to find..unless you go on ebay or as it turns out…show up 3 hours before Circuit City opens). Very different from last year when one wanted underwear and the other wanted toothpaste…

Being that I have a one year old this year, he can’t YET tell me what he wants! But he is getting a DVD player for the car and this set would be an awesome gift to go with it! Thanks for the chance to win!
