Fish Head book coverFrom Destiny’s bio - “I’m eleven years old, and I love to read. I love books and I read about three chapter books a day, and it isn’t just good for your health like you hear in school but it is also pretty fun!!”

Fish Head, by Jean Fritz, illustrated by Marc Simont

Fish Head is a cat that lives on his own. Everyone calls him “Fish Head” because whenever he walked by anyone, he had a dripping cold fish head in his mouth, but the owner of the market called him a LONG-TAILED LIVER-LOVING THIEF! Fish Head gets his own meals every day, but one day he was chasing a grandfather rat – then the rat was gone!!!! Then he went on something that looked like a dock, but then it moved! Fish Head had never been on a boat before, but he learns how to catch flying fish and he learns how to walk on the boat. He was trying to find his way home and one day he DID find his home!! Do you think he will stay home or go back to the boat?

What I like about the book is that whenever I read it it reminds me of my evil cat at my mom’s house Maya. She’s the evilest cat ever! I also think the art is really nice and Fish Head looks like a real cat!!!
